Standing behind them in a staggered line are (from left to right) Midshipman Gerald M B Langley, Assistant Clerk Donald R G Allen, Midshipman Hugh Dixon DSC, Midshipman Philip M Kitwood, Midshipman William W Jacomb, Lieutenant Hugh B Deedes, Midshipman Cyril H C Matthey DSC, Midshipman Geoffrey M D Maltby, Midshipman Frank A Single, Sub-Lieutenant Sidney L Manson and Midshipman William G. Jack. Immediately behind the second row are (from left to right) Sub-Lieutenant Edward C Bindloss, Sub-Lieutenant Lawrence F Foley and Midshipman Cecil E C Robinson.
