The 5th Battle Squadron at sea
A view of ships of the 5th Battle Squadron at sea for gunnery exercises, steaming in echeloned line abreast. The vessel in the centre is the Queen Elizabeth class battleship HMS Warspite (1913), and beyond her is her sister HMS Barham (1914). Both ships have their 15-inch gun turrets trained on the port bow. The photograph was taken from the main deck of HMS Queen Elizabeth (1913), just aft of the disused 6-inch casemates on the starboard side.
