A view aft from the forward superstructure of HMS Queen Elizabeth (1913), looking down the starboard side. The shield of the shelter deck 6-inch mounting is just visible despite being obscured by the ammunition embarking boom, and some of the ship's boats can be seen stowed to the right of the picture. The ship in the distance is Queen Elizabeth's sister HMS Malaya (1915).
