HMS Queen Elizabeth (1913)
A picture taken on the port side of the upper deck of HMS Queen Elizabeth (1913), roughly abreast 'Y' turret and looking forward. The figure closest to the camera cannot be identified with certainty, but is very likely to be Royal Marine Gunner George L. Rose. Another Royal Marine can be seen with the group at the head of the ladder leading to the forecastle deck, one of whom appears to be taking soundings.
