The Grand Fleet at sea
A distant port beam view of battleships of the 4th Battle Squadron at sea, circa 1915/6. The ship to the right is HMS Canada (1913). Given her membership of the 3rd Division of this Squadron the ship ahead of her is most likely to be HMS Superb (1907), but could equally likely be HMS Bellerophon (1907), HMS Temeraire (1907), or HMS Vanguard (1909). The two leading vessels are probably HMS Iron Duke (1912) and HMS Benbow (1913), although it is not possible to determine the order of sailing.
