HMS Queen Elizabeth (1913)
A group of officers on the portside after end of the forecastle deck of HMS Queen Elizabeth (1913). To the left is the duty botswain who is standing in the lee of the vent forward of 'X' turret. The officer theatrically shaking his fist at the camera is Staff Surgeon Arthur D. Cowburn RNVR. Some of the ship's smaller boats, including what may be a coppering punt or life raft can be seen near the turret barbette, while to the right an ash chute has been fitted to the guardrail. The rear door to the turret is open.
