The Grand Fleet in Scapa Flow

The ships which appear in the picture are from left to right are a battleship of the Bellerophon class with a collier in the foreground, HMS Dreadnought (1906), the seaplane carrier HMS Campania (1893), a battleship of the King George V class, a battleship, a cruiser with colliers alongside (very distant), and HMS Hercules (1910).
The photograph was taken from the starboard side of the forecastle deck of HMS Queen Elizabeth (1913), just forward of the 6-inch casemates. A whaler with two sailors on boat duty has been made fast to the Jacob's ladder suspended from the guest warp boom.
