The Grand Fleet at Sea
A distant port beam view of the ships of the 4th Division, 4th Battle Squadron as it stood in early 1916. From left to right the ships in the foreground are HMS Benbow (1913), HMS Bellerophon (1907), HMS Temeraire (1907) and HMS Dreadnought (1906). Of the ships that are further away, only the two beyond Dreadnought's stern can be identified as HMS Agincourt (1913) and HMS Hercules (1910). However, their presence in this group suggests that the remainder of the distant ships are members of the 1st Battle Squadron.
