The 5th Battle Squadron at sea
A view aft from the foretop of the battleship HMS Queen Elizabeth (1913), taken during squadron manoeuvres in the North Sea. Queen Elizabeth's mainmast is in plain view, and 'X' and 'Y' turrets can be seen beyond it. The battleship following Queen Elizabeth is her sister HMS Warspite (1913). The latter's 'A' turret can be seen trained on the port quarter.
