Cupboard
Mahogany bookcase/ cupboard from the Admiralty Secretary's office, in the style of William Kent. Carved with navigational instruments and seashells, the pediment with Admiralty badge and trophies and the motto: 'IN FLUCTIBUS STABILIS'. The carving is in limewood. The bookcase has oak-lined drawers and ormolu handles and is intended to fit into a recess.
