Bureau

A Spanish mahogany bureau veneered on an oak carcass. The drawers are oak-lined with brass drop handles. There are three long drawers and at the top, three small drawers, the central one being widest. The bureau has a fall front covered with baize. Behind the writing surface, a central door is flanked by pillars, which pull out as narrow boxes. On each side of the door, there are four small drawers, four pigeon holes and long narrow drawers at the top.
