Plaque
Copper plaque painted with the arms of Admiral William Domett (1751-1828). Domett was made a Knight Grand Cross of the Order of the Bath in 1820. Blazon: Azure, a saltire wavy between two fleurs-de-lis in pale and as many mulletts in fess or. Supporters: An either side, argent, an eagle, engorged with a naval crown argent, holding an anchor. Crest: an eagle displayed, azure semy of estoiles, crowned or, holding an anchor. Motto: 'CALME ET FERME' and with the motto of the Order of the Bath: 'TRIA JUNCTA IN UNO' around the shield. The item may be a coffin plate or stall plate.
