Plaque
Vitreous paste cameo plaque mounted on a circular blue glass base. The cameo is decorated with a profile portrait depicting Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). The cameo is flanked by two cornucopia made of gold and silver paper, (the fruit is made of pearls) set within a border of seed pearls (the 'pearls' are small glass beads painted silver) and gold wire. The whole of the plaque is glazed by a domed glass cover.
