Paintbrush from the studio collection of Clarkson Stanfield RA, acquired 9.04 (Bagshawe Collection). It has a metal ferrule and is more likely to post-date Stanfield, possibly belonging to his artist son George (d. 1878) or grandson Joseph Bagshawe RBA (d. 1909). ZBA4208 is another. [PvdM 5.06].
