House flag, Associated Bulk Carriers
The house flag of Associated Bulk Carriers. Design: dark blue with the white letters ‘ABC’ –the B placed on a tall red rectangle. The flag is made of synthetic fibre bunting and is machine sewn. Cord and wooden toggle attached. Associated Bulk Carriers were originally a joint venture between P&O and Naess Shipping, P&O sold half of its Associated Bulk Carriers subsidiary to the Monaco-based Ofer family in 2000 and the remainder in 2003 to Eurotower Holdings. The company appears to be still in operation.
