Smock

Hand sewn smock with hood which is part of a set of overalls to keep fine snow out of inner woollen clothing belonging to Captain F. L. McClintock (1817-1907). The neck opening is secured by large horn buttons and the five patch pockets with bone buttons. Non inset sleeves with gussets under the arms. The overalls are shown in Pearce's portrait of McClintock.
