Medal commemorating the Spanish fleet captured at the Slaak, 1631. Obverse: Plan of the country, inscription below on a cloth, 'Vere surrexit De'[us] et dissipati sunt Inimici ei'[us]' (Indeed God arose and his enemies were scattered). Reverse: Inscription, 'D.O.M. Hisp. classem ausp. Ord. Belgij. Ductu Fr. Hen. Pr. Aur. sub legato suo in Zeel. Hollario dissipavit intra Vianen & Stavenisse, expost nebula circumfusam vadisque allisam, in manus suorum omnes dedit, aut perdidit, solo Praefecto Com. Ioh. de Nassau sociisque.x.exceptis, LXXVI navibus & CIC CIC CICCXL militibus captis, perque castra Principis Bergam ad Zomam gregatim deductis XIII September (arms of Zeeland) Anno 1631' (describes the scattering of the Spanish fleet by fog and shoal and its destruction, Count John of Nassau and ten comrades alone escaping, 76 ships and 4140 soldiers being captured).
