ITER . VIA . CIC . IC . XCIII' (He attempts the journey by a forbidden route). Reverse: Alexander the Great with his army before Mons Aornos. Inscription: 'MONS AORNOS'. Legend: 'VIRTVS . REPULSAE . NESCIA .' (Valour which knows not defeat.)
