Counter commemorating the state in danger, 1678. Obverse: A fishing boat under sail in a rough sea, two shields above. Inscription: 'DOMINE SALVA NOS' (Lord save us). Reverse: Inscription, 'GODT WIL . DIT . SCHIP BE WAEREN' (God is willing to protect the ship from danger) 'VAN DER NOOT'. The above-named belonged to an important family which had great power in the State.
