Medal commemorating the Peace of London, 1674. Obverse: William, Prince of Orange on horseback (left); below in distance troops assaulting a town; above, a spray of orange entwined by a band, inscribed, 'VIRES ULTRA SORTEMQUE IUVENTAE' (Beyond the power and condition of youth). Reverse: A dove, an olive and palm spray in its beak, flying over the sea; ships in distance, sun, rayed (left) clouds and birds above. Legend: 'DOMINO VENIT PAX ET VICTORIA LAETA' (From the Lord comes peace and happy victory).
