A tetradrachm commemorating the Battle of Salamis, 480 BC. Obverse: Head of Athene in a helmet within a pearled ring (right). Reverse: Within an olive wreath an owl seated on a prostrate amphora, the prow of a galley (right). Shows the trophy erected at Salamis. Greek inscription.
