The capture of London AD296 and Constantius Chlorus. Obverse: Bust of the general Constantius Chlorus, laureate, in armour and mantle (right). Legend: 'FL VAL CONSTANTIVS NOBII CAES'. Reverse: London (right) kneeling to receive the general mounted on horseback, in helmet, armour and cloak and holding a spear in his right hand; a fortress (right), a galley below. Legend: 'REDDITOR LVCIS AETERNAE'. Inscription: 'LON. P.T.R.' (Mint of Treves). Constantius put down the insurrection of Allectus.
