Obverse: A monument containing a medallion of Prince William I; a fleet (right), the harbour and city and a fort firing (left). Legend: 'EBEN=HAEZER'. Exergue: 'EX DECRETO CONCILII CIVILIS BELLI CVDI CVRAVERVNT A.D. VI APR. CIC IC CCLXXII'. Reverse: Liberty with her staff and cap in her right hand, supported by Power (right) with sword raised in right and bow in left hand; a tyrant prostrate below (left), a flaming torch in his right and a sword in his left hand. Legend: 'SPONTE ET FELICITER'. Exergue: 'D. 6 APR.1572'.
