Obverse: The Netherlands crowned, seated beneath a fruit tree, her shield and a crowned pedestal beside her, spilling a cornucopia (right); view of the distant city. Legend: 'ONDER ZIJNE SCHADUW HERLEEFT MIJNE WELVAART.' (Under its shade my prosperity revives.) Inscription (on pedestal): 'HEIL DES VOLKS.' Exergue: 'HULDE VAN MIDDELBURGS KOOPLIEDEN.'
