Reverse: Naval action at sunset, 'Soleil Royal' sinking (left). Legend: 'NVNC PLVRIBUS IMPAR.' (Now unequal to many). Exergue: 'OB . CLASS . GALL . AB . ANG . ET HOLL . VICT . ET . DELET . D . 29 . 31 . MAI . A . 1692.' (On the defeat and destruction of the French fleet by the British and Dutch.) Inscription (on edge): 'SIC PHAETHONTAEO TANDEM MARE SVFFICIT IGNI.'
