Medal commemorating the Battle of Copenhagen and the manning of the block-ships, 1801. Obverse: A seated female figure (Aalborg), with musket and shield (with the arms of Copenhagen), holding, outstretched, a wreath towards distant ships and batteries. At her feet an open bag from which coins roll out. Legend: 'EN BORGER KRANDS.' (A citizen's reward.) Exergue: 'AALBORG 1801.' Reverse: Inscription, 'TIL DET 3DEN JYDSKE INFANTERIE= REGIMENTS TAPPRE KRIGER AF 2 APRIL.' (To the 3rd Jyds Infantry regiment's valiant warriors of 2 April.) (School of Nuremberg)
