Medal commemorating the arrival of Princess Louisa of Mecklenburg-Güstrow for her marriage to the Crown Prince, 1695. Obverse: A beflagged galley under sail and oars with other vessels in distance. Legend: 'ADVENT AUGVSTAE.' Reverse: A cherub displaying an inscribed flag and pointing to a pyramid (right) inscribed with twin coats of arms crowned and dated 'MDCXCV . V . DEC', horsemen meeting the fleet in distance. Legend: 'LAETITIA TEMPORUM.' Inscription on flag a monogram 'F' (Prince Frederick), and 'L' (Princess Louisa) in centre, and 'VIVANT' or 'VIV.' on the arms of the cross.
