Medal commemorating the capture of Brunswick, 1671. Obverse: A trophy of a drum, cannons and shells surmounted by an open book inscription with Hebrew script; flags and weapons. Legend: 'IVRE & ARMIS.' Exergue: '12 JUNY . 1671.' Reverse: Starboard quarter view of a three-masted battleship, supported on waves, under sail before a favourable wind; above (left) a hemisphere inscribed with Hebrew script, with clouds and rays. Legend (below): 'REMIGIO ALTISSIMI.' Possibly by J. Bensheimer.
