Obverse: Time, in the shape of Saturn, winged and draped (left), holding his scythe in his left, placing a wreath with his right hand upon a naval rostral column, decorated with Minerva's shield, the arms of Hamburg on its base; a steering oar, cornucopia and caduceus leaning against it (right). Legend: 'FORTDAUERNDES GELINGEN.' (Continuing success.) Reverse: Within a wreath of oak (left) and of bulrushes (right) tied with a bow, inscription. Inscription: 'DEM NEUEN JAHRHUNDERTE DIE HAMBURGISCHE ADMIRALITÄT IM JAHR 1801.' (To the new century. The Hamburg Admiralty in the year 1801.)
