Medal commemorating Admiral Gustavus Otto Stenbock. Obverse: Bust of Admiral Stenbock with long hair in armour and cloak (left). Legend: 'GUST . OTTO . STENBOCK COM . SEN . REGNI SVEC.' (Gustavus Otto Stenbock, Count and Senator of the Kingdom of Sweden.) Reverse: Three military trophies of armour, helmets, flags, cannon and shot. Legend: 'EGREGIAM LAUDEM ET SPOLIA AMPLA REFERENS.' (A winner of splendid fame and many a trophy.) Exergue: 'XL PER ANNOS TERROR HOSTIUM OB MDCLXXXV.' (The terror of his enemies for forty years, he died 1685.)
