Medal commemorating the capture of Stralsund, 1715. Obverse: The heads of three kings within a triangle, their names inscribed on each base. Legend: 'HIER . SEHEN . DREY . FRIDRICHE . KAN . MAN' (Here one may see the three Fredericks.) Round the triangle: 'REX BORVS FRIDERICVS'; 'REX DAN : & N : FRID : WILH :'; 'AVG : REX : POL : FRIDERICVS'. Reverse: View of the city of Stralsund. Legend: 'WER . MAG . DENSELBEN . WIEDER . STEHEN'. Exergue: 'A DANIS SAXONIBVS ET PRVSSIS OBSIDIONE CAPTA 23 xbr. 1715' (Captured by siege by the Danes, Saxons and Prussians, Dec.1715.) Inscribed on a ribbon, 'STRALSUNDIA'. A variety of the preceding, the lettering in the exergue being smaller.
