Legend: 'OG BØREN BLAESER DENNEM IND FOR DANMARK.' (And the fair wind blows them towards Denmark.) Exergue: 'TIL DE FRIVILLIGE FRA BRODERRIGERNE.' (To the volunteers from sister-lands.) In the Schleswig-Holstein war Denmark appealed for volunteers from Sweden and Norway.
