Folder containing nine items relating to Canadian 17ft indigenous kayaks. These include three plans, two documents and two photographs.
In January 2008, three further plans were added to this folder as they were deemed relevant in terms of subject (ie foreign coastal craft). Full details are as follows:
- one plan for an unnamed Indian khotia
- one plan for an unnamed Indian brig of 300 tons burden
- one plan for the 'Salama' (no date), a dau la mataruma [traditional Kenyan fishing boat]
