Cross of decoration round the neck. Legend: 'HENR . SIGISMUND . VON DER HEYDE COLBERG . DEFENSOR .' (Henry Sigismund von der Heyde, defender of Kolberg.) Reverse: An antique warrior bearing the shield of Prussia, defends a murally crowned woman, crouching on the ground and holding a shield with the arms of Kolberg, against a fiery monster arising out of the sea. Legend: 'RES SIMILIS FICTAE.' (A fact similar to fiction.) Exergue: 'POMERAN . LIBERATA MDCCLX.' (Pomerania liberated in 1760.) Struck by order of Frederick the Great.
