Russian naval school prize medal. Obverse: Head of Czar Nicolas I (right). Legend in Russian (By the grace of God, Nicholas I, Emperor and Autocrat of all the Russias). Reverse: A goddess (Minerva), seated with a sceptre in her left and a wreath in her right hand, an antique galley behind. Legend in Russian (For progress in studies and for good conduct). Exergue: (21 November 1829).
