Memorial medal to Admiral Louis Alexandre de Bourbon, Comte de Toulouse (1678-1737), commemorating the action off Malaga 1704. Obverse: Head of Admiral de Bourbon in a long wig (right). Legend: 'LOUIS ALEXANDRE DE BOURBON COMTE DE TOULOUSE AMIRAL DE FRANCE.' Reverse: A winged Victory, a palm branch in her left hand, standing on an antique galley containing massed trophies, inscribing a shield on a mast with flag flying and sail furled. Legend: 'BRITANNIS BATAVIS QUE (sic) DEVICTIS.' (British and Dutch defeated.) Inscription (on shield): 'VELEZ MALAGA.' Exergue: 'XXIV AOUST MDCCIV.'
