Counter commemorating the Anglo-Dutch-Austrian coalition. Obverse: Bust of Admiral Louis Alexandre de Bourbon, Comte de Toulouse (1678-1737) in a long wig, low collar, armour and mantle (right). Legend: 'L . ALEXA . DE . BOURBON . C . DE . TOULOUZE . ADMIRAL . DE . FCE.' Reverse: Amphitrite seated in a two-horsed sea car, her right hand extended holding a wreath; above, cherub heads blowing wind, one (left) showing an arm and wing. Legend: 'AQVILONVM . DESPICIT . IRAS.' (She despises the fury of the winds.) Exergue: 'MARINE . 1702.'
