Counter entitled 'steadfast among change'. Obverse: Bust of Admiral Louis Alexandre de Bourbon, Comte de Toulouse (1678-1737) in armour and mantle. Legend: 'L . ALEXA . DE BOURBON C . DE TOULOUZE ADMIRAL DE FCE.' Reverse: A rough sea, the crescent moon and clouds above. Legend: 'IN VARIIS CONSTANS VICIBUS.' (Steadfast amid changes.) Exergue: 'MARINE . 1726 .' This possibly refers to the changes in the Ministry of Marine, the Count of Toulouse excepted.
