REX CHRISTIANISS.' Reverse: Inscription within an oak wreath tied with a bow. Inscription: 'LIBERTÉ DES MERS PAIX DE 1783.' (Freedom of the seas. Peace of 1783.) This refers to the independence of the American colonies.
