Marconi Atalanta Radio Receiver Type 2207C

A radio receiver for marine communication. The set has a steel chassis with two carrying handles on front. It can receive radio frequencies from 15 kc/s to 28 Mc/s in ten ranges, with band spread scales calibrated in frequency for the six H.F. marine bands. There is additional fine tuning. The Type 2207C was intended as a general receiver for ships and could operate from 110V DC or - with adapters - 220V DC, 24V DC, 115V AC or 230V AC. This example is fitted with a standard mains pug and a cable and with an aerial wire.
