Legend: 'LUDOVICUS MAGNUS REX CHRISTIANISSIMUS.' Reverse: Winged Victory standing on a column erected on a galley adorned with trophies. Legend: 'DEVICTA . HOSTIUM . CLASSE . DUCE. INTEREMPTO.' (The enemy's fleets defeated and their leader killed.) Exergue: 'AD . AUGUSTAM . SICILIAE M . DC . LXXVI' (At Augusta in Sicily 1676.)
