Boots
Pair of boots used on Nares' Arctic expedition 1875. Owner, Engineer, James Wootton. Brown leather with woollen uppers and leggings. Platform soles and square toes. Secured with leather instep straps amd brass buckles. Wool legging missing from the second boot of the pair.
