Inscription: 'LE 2 XBRE 1870 SUR LES BORDS DE LA MARNE LA CANONIÈRE FARCY LANCE DES OBUS DE 120 KES ELLE A CONTRIBUÉE A LA VICTOIRE HONNEUR A NOS INTRÉPIDES MARINS.' (December 1870, on the banks of the Marne the woman-gunner Farcy, by firing shells of 120 kilograms, contributed to the victory and honour of our brave sailors.)
