Duffle suit
Duffle suit. Used on Nares' Arctic expedition 1875. Belonged to Lieutenant A A C Parr, HMS "Alert". Coat with stand up collar but no hood. Two patch pockets. Closed with three horn buttons. Trousers, flap fronted, duffle braces edged with cotton tape, horn buttons. Short legs to tuck into boots. Both garments are hand sewn.
