India General Service Medal 1854-95

Awarded to Admiral William Oswald Story (1859-1938). Obverse: Head of Queen Victoria with a diadem, hair tied in a knot (L). Legend: 'VICTORIA REGINA'. Reverse: Winged Victory standing (L) crowning with a wreath a seated warrior (R). Suspended from a cusped bar and ribbon of three scarlet and two blue stripes. Bar: 'PERAK'. Inscribed on edge, 'W.O.STORY. MDN. R.N. H.M.S. "MODESTE'". ZBA4507-ZBA4510 on a bar.
