Line enclosing legend. Legend: 'ADMIRAL . VERNON . AND . COMMODORE . BROWN .' Exergue: Convex shell with two leaves on either side. Reverse: View of the port. Six ships, placed two and four, all sailing to right, except the right-hand lower one. Water lines outside harbour, which is empty. Towers pointing at letters W and T. Line enclosing legend. Legend: 'HE . TOOK . PORTO . BELLO . WITH . SIX . SHIPS . ONLY .' Exergue: 'NOV . 22 . 1739'. Below date, symmetrical leaf ornament.
