Medal commemorating King Ferdinand IV re-established at Naples, 1799. Obverse: Bust of Ferdinand IV (right), pigtail, armour, cloak. Order of Golden Fleece round neck. Ribbon over left shoulder. Legend: 'FERDINAN . IV D : G . SICILIAR . ET HIE . REX.' Reverse: A line-of-battle ship entering the Bay of Naples. Royalist forces advance towards the fleeing enemy. Above, Fame with trumpet holds a medallion with Nelson's bust (right), inscribed: 'HOR . NELSON DUCA BRONTI.' Exergue: 'PER MEZZO DELLA DIVINA PROVVIDENZA DELLE DI LUI VIRTU DELLA FEDE & ENERGIA DEL SUO POPOLO DEL VALORE DE'SUOI ALLEATI ED IN PARTICOLARE GL'INGLESI GLORIOS[AMEN]TE RISTABILITO SUL TRONO .
