Medal commemorating the Trafalgar Centenary, 1905. Obverse: Britannia, a spear in her left hand and a shield below, standing on the deck of an antique galley, her right foot resting on a helmet, crowned with a wreath by a winged Victory. Reverse: An oak and laurel wreath. Legend: 'HORATIO VISCOUNT NELSON. THE COMBINED FLEETS OF FRANCE AND SPAIN DEFEATED'. Inscription: 'VICE-ADMIRAL AND COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF ON THE 21 OCTOBER MDCCCV'. Inscribed on edge: 'THE CENTENARY OF THE BATTLE OF TRAFALGAR, 1905'. Fitted with a ring and glazed.
