Screw gunboat
Scale 1:48. A plan showing the upper deck of a Dapper (described on the plan as Boxer) class screw gunboat, illustrating in particular the arrangement of the slides and pivots for the gun carriages. The drawing was lithographed at the Royal Carriage Department in the Woolwich Arsenal by J. McDonald and the copy was signed off by Colonel Alistair T. Tulloch on 2 January 1856. While grouped with Charnock material, this item may not be an intrinsic part of that collection.
