Medal commemorating Nelson's battles. Obverse: Bust of Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (three-quarter left). Shoulders square. Full uniform, with all his orders and medals. Legend: 'ADM . LORD NELSON.' Reverse: Goddess of war, fully armed, trident in left hand, thunderbolt in raised right, stands on prow of antique galley. Legend: 'NILE I . AUG 1798 . COPENHAGEN 28 APR 1801 . TRAFALGAR 21 OCT 1805.'
